Clearing Open Day on campus

Our on-campus Clearing Open Day will enable you to visit our campus, meet academic staff and find out more about the University.

At our on-campus Clearing Open Day you can:

  • Chat about your course with our academic staff
  • Go on a campus tour and visit accommodation
  • Meet with staff from our support services teams including admissions, accommodation and student support

What will the day be like?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of our visitors, students and staff. To limit the number of visitors on our campus at any one time we have introduced bookable arrival timeslots for this event. When you sign up for the open day, please choose one of the available half hour timeslots. Please ensure you arrive within that half an hour period. We also ask that only one person accompanies the prospective student from their household or social bubble.

Guests are reminded that face coverings or visors will be required to participate in the open day. We will have face coverings available if required. RAU Staff and Student Ambassadors will be wearing face masks/coverings or visors throughout the day.

In addition to this, to ensure the safety of all involved, there will be hand sanitisers all around the campus which you’ll be encouraged to use, cleaning will take place throughout the event and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

If you, your guest or anyone in your household has any of the coronavirus symptoms (cough, high temperature or loss of taste and/or smell)or has been asked to self-isolate we ask that you don’t take part in this on campus event, however, please do join us for our virtual clearing open day online instead.

Once you’ve signed up we’ll contact you before the event with more information about your visit. We look forward to seeing you soon!
