Royal Agricultural University ranking in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018
The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is pleased that an improvement in teaching quality was recognised in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 released yesterday (24 September 2017).
This result is reflected in the University being ranked 13th (out of 129) for undergraduate completion rate (94.4%) and 64th for student experience, with a satisfaction rate of 78.8%.
RAU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jo Price said: “These results demonstrate that our students feel supported, have access to the resources they need to succeed, and feel very much part of the RAU community. Students are at the heart of everything we do and ensuring that they have a positive experience is our number one priority. The University is currently shaping a new strategy that will ensure that students receive the best possible education and are fully prepared for future careers in a world of increasing uncertainty. A silver TEF award and strong performance in the 2017 National Student Survey (NSS) reflect the University’s commitment to a programme of continuous improvement.”
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide league table is compiled based on nine measures: Student Experience (NSS), Teaching Quality (NSS), Completion Rate, Services / Facilities Spend, Entry Standards (UCAS points), Graduate Prospectus (DLHE), Firsts / 2.1s, Student:Staff ratio, and Research Quality (REF).
