  • The law related to agency and professional practice
  • Marketing principles and modern real estate practice
  • Digital technologies and their role in real estate markets

Module outcomes

To achieve credit for this module, students must be able to:

  • Demonstrate a critical understanding of the meaning of professionalism and the duties and responsibilities of a professional (P1;P2)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles  and techniques of marketing and agency as applied to real estate transactions (P1)
  • Articulate sustainability and ethical issues and dilemmas related to professional practice(T5)
  • Analyse law, practice and professional considerations to form recommendations (R3)
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and orally (S2)
  • Integrate their knowledge to reflect on their own learning and to make learning plans (S4).
