Discover RAU Live

Join us this summer for Discover RAU Live, our virtual summer school which is taking place between 6-10 July 2020 for students in years 10 to 13, or equivalent (e.g. Access to HE or Level 3 BTEC).

Unfortunately, this year we are unable to run our usual residential summer schools in person. However, we are able to provide similar opportunities online instead! The virtual event has been designed to give you an opportunity to find out more about studying at university.

Over the week, you can attend sample lectures delivered live online by our academic staff, take part in interactive activities and get lots of information and advice about going to university. You will also be able to tailor which sessions you attend to your main subject of interest such as agriculture, business, environment, equine or real estate & land management, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities for you to meet our students and ask us your questions about university life.

What should I expect?

We'll be running four live sessions each day at 10:00am, 12 noon, 2:00pm and 4:00pm which will include sample lectures delivered by our academic staff, Q&A sessions with our students and general university information sessions on topics such as Student Finance. You can find some sneak peeks below.

Don't worry if you're not able to attend for the whole time or for every session, you're welcome to choose which sessions you want to come along to. By registering you'll get access to the programme and joining links.
