This two week programme is designed to welcome our international students, allowing them to recover from their journey before the start of term whilst acclimatising to the RAU campus and local area.
International orientation provides a great opportunity to meet other new EU and international students as well as returning students and staff at the RAU.
The programme combines leisure activities and day trips to local and national places of interest, such as Windsor Castle, Bath or Avebury Henge, with practical support. This may include assistance with opening a bank account, finding off-campus accommodation, introduction to the campus medical surgery and police registration.
It also incorporates daily academic sessions to sharpen your academic English skills, preparing you for academic life during your time at the RAU.
Who is it for?
All new EU and international students starting their first term/year at the RAU.
This includes airport pick-up, accommodation and food for the duration of the programme, travel fares and entry fees for activities as part of the orientation programme.
Monday 9 September - Friday 20 September 2019.
Students must arrive at London Heathrow Airport on either Saturday 7 September or Sunday 8 September 2019 to take advantage of the airport pick-up.
