Each autumn we offer a two-week programme to welcome all new EU and international students. The programme runs before the start of the first semester to help prepare students for their time with us. It introduces students to the practicalities of living in the UK through visits to famous local landmarks.
International orientation provides a great opportunity to meet other new EU and international students as well as returning students and staff at the RAU.
The programme combines leisure activities and day trips to local and national places of interest, such as Windsor Castle, Bath or Avebury Henge, with practical support. This may include assistance with opening a bank account, finding off-campus accommodation, introduction to the campus medical surgery and police registration.
It also incorporates daily academic sessions to sharpen your academic English skills, preparing you for academic life during your time at the RAU.
