Permanent or Fixed Term positions
To take up an appointment at the Royal Agricultural University, applicants who are nationals of countries outside the European Economic Area who do not have existing permission to work in the UK need to get permission from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
Should you be successful in the selection process, the University will apply for a certificate of sponsorship that enables you to seek permission from the UKVI to take up our offer of employment.
The UK Government has limited the availability of certificates of sponsorship. This may mean that the University is not able to obtain a certificate, and therefore unable to offer you an appointment.
You are encouraged to apply for the position, but you should bear in mind that, even if you are selected, ultimately it may not be possible to appoint you.
If you are selected for the position, the University will keep you informed of the progress in obtaining a certificate of sponsorship, and what actions you need to undertake.
