My placement experience

I decided to come to the Royal Agricultural University because it allowed me to study in business at a prestigious institution, whilst also studying a language and making good contacts for the future.

I completed my work placement within an events company specialising in music festivals, which gave me a great insight in to the workings of a small enterprise. I spent my time travelling around the country and attending the events; coordinating food traders and stall holders, and interacting with staff and festival organisers. Although I am not planning on pursuing events management as a career choice, my placement has helped me to identify other areas which I am very excited about.

I feel better equipped to enter the working world.

The placement helped me to manage my time better, and I feel that this has carried through to my final year and my attitude towards work. I feel better equipped to enter the working world and communicate with people in a variety of situations.
