Lewis Bebb

I’m Lewis Bebb, your RAU Student Union President (starting August 2019). I’m in my final year of International Business Management and will be graduating this July.

I am extremely excited to have been elected to represent the student body for the next year, voicing the student opinions and views on various committees and boards, and organising student events ranging from comedy nights, wellbeing clinics, and the Balls.

The RAUSU prides itself on offering students a unique experience with many societies and clubs supported by the SU ranging from hockey to a classic car club. Alongside the societies currently running, myself and the SU are always excited to have students who are keen to start new societies too!

I chose the RAU as a university for myself, due to the competitive nature of the degree courses and the friendly lecturers. I was blown away on my first applicant day many years ago by how the whole establishment was run. It is always difficult for smaller, more specialist universities to find the right balance between keeping the lectures competitive with larger universities but still feel personal – I found the RAU got the balance just right.
