Why did you chose to study at the RAU?
The course that I selected was unique to the RAU. I had already spent four years studying, and I wanted to make an efficient transition to the agriculture sector. The Graduate Diploma in Agriculture provided me with this opportunity.
What did you enjoy most about studying at the RAU?
Meeting the other course participants as well as the lecturers. I was able to make many new friendships as well as industry contacts. The Graduate Diploma in Agriculture is a great course for people that want to engage in meaningful discussion about agriculture, as well as giving people an opportunity to benefit from the diverse backgrounds of the course mates.
What job/role do you have now?
I'm an entrepreneur and have co-founded a company called The Consumer Brand.
How has the course prepared you for your current role?
The course has given me a large "tool-box” so to speak, as well as credibility to communicate with farmers and other stakeholders within the agriculture sector. I also enjoy using my knowledge to help others understand the sector and challenges it faces.
