Astrotracks Get Into Farming Award 2019
This award is a fee waiver of £1,500 available to one new UK full-time student on the Graduate Diploma in Agriculture at the RAU.
About the Scholarship
The award is only open to applicants from a non-farming background who have attained their first degree in a non-cognate subject area.
If several strong applications are received, the final selection for the award will take into account the applicants’ previous academic performance, personal statement and supporting references.
The RAU Scholarship Committee will select the scholar on behalf of Astrotracks.
How do I apply?
You need to apply by using the online application form, together with supporting evidence. Please download and ask your referee to complete the scholarship reference form; the referee should be your most recent school/university tutor or employer. We do not accept references from family members. Please note Scholarship applications cannot be considered without a satisfactory reference. Additional information may be requested at a later date.
Deadline for applications
Applications and all supporting evidence must be received by the university by 15 August 2019. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
How will I know if my application is successful?
All applicants will be informed in writing of the outcome, whether successful or unsuccessful once a decision is made which will be no later than 15 September 2019.
Terms and conditions
- Only one Royal Agricultural University managed scholarship can be held at any one time, this includes those provided by the Royal Agricultural University National Scholarship Programme (NSP); however, RAU Alumni can benefit from an additional 20% discount on tuition fees
