Postgraduate Masters loans
Alongside the awards and scholarships offered by the Royal Agricultural University, there is financial support available from the Government to help EU/UK postgraduate students cover the costs of living and studying. Funding is available whether you are studying taught or research Masters.
How to apply
Applying for a Postgraduate Masters loan is a straightforward process. For courses starting after 1 August 2018, you can borrow up to £10,609 in total for your course, to contribute to your tuition fee and living costs. The loan will not be means tested and payment will be made directly to you.
You will get the first payment after your course start date, once the university confirms that you’ve registered. After your application has been approved, you’ll be sent a letter with your payment dates or you can check them in your online account.
Below is an example of how payments may be made for different study options. These will be confirmed in writing by the Student Loans Company once your loan has been approved.
