Geoffrey Cragghill Memorial Scholarship
The trustees of the Geoffrey Cragghill Scholarship Trust have graciously offered one scholarship to support a Masters student undertaking a dissertation.
About the scholarship
The dissertation topic should ideally be related to country sports, but topics relating to agriculture and/or land management will also be considered. The previous academic achievements of the student and the relevance of their dissertation proposal to the objectives of the Trust will be used to judge the relevance of the application and identify a suitable candidate for the award.
Value of award
The scholarship will be worth up to £2,000 with a further £500 for expenses. In addition the Trust may provide a mentor as well as a University supervisor. In return, you will be expected to provide a short synopsis of the dissertation (in addition to your 20,000 word dissertation) which may be used in Landmark (the University’s Alumni Magazine) to promote the Scholarship.
