This page contains some of the most frequently asked questions during Graduation.
You will need to register your attendance, book your ticket and book your guests tickets through Ede and Ravenscroft. You do not need to know your results to do this.
Guest’s tickets will not be posted but will be available for collection from the registration desk on campus when you arrive. You will receive a confirmation email of your booking from Ede & Ravenscroft which will need to be presented to collect your tickets. If you have not received confirmation then your booking may not have been successful, if this happens contact [email protected].
The deadline for booking is 15 July 2021. After this date you will not be able to apply to attend or book guest tickets.
Academic dress is compulsory and gowns can be hired at the time of booking your tickets through Ede and Ravenscroft.
Parking is provided free of charge at the University.
Certificates are posted to students the week after the ceremonies. Graduates from 2020 are already in receipt of their certificates.
The deadline is final and we cannot make any exceptions to this. If you have not booked by the deadline then you will not be able to attend.
Please see the programme for the day. It is recommended that you arrive in plenty of time to collect your tickets from the registration desk, collect your gown and have official photographs.
All graduates and graduands who register to attend their Graduation Ceremony are able to apply for up to two guest tickets (as well as their own ticket, for which there is no charge) for the Ceremony. You do, however, need to book these tickets at the time of confirming your own attendance.
Tickets will be available to collect on the day of your Ceremony from the registration desk on the RAU campus. You and your guests will need to bring your e-ticket to collect your tickets.
Regrettably this year only two guest tickets will be available.
Under normal circumstances, Graduation Ceremonies are not suitable for babies and small children. If you must attend with a child, please be aware that should they become distressed or disruptive they will be asked to leave the Ceremony.
