There are a few things you need to make sure you've completed before you graduate.
Book your place
Bookings for the July 2020 Ceremony will open in February 2020 and will close on 17 July 2020. You will not be able to book after this deadline so please allow plenty of time to secure and confirm your booking. To book your place and your guest tickets visit the Ede & Ravenscroft website.
After you have made your booking you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation then your booking may not have been successful, if this happens please contact email@example.com.
You do not pay for your place at your Ceremony, however, you do need to book in advance. As you are not paying for yours or your guest’s ticket you do not need to wait for your results to apply.
You will be able to apply for up to two free guest tickets per student for the Ceremony. These can be booked at the same time as booking your place on your Ceremony.
You will receive an email ticket confirming graduand and guest tickets to the email address you have registered on the Ede and Ravenscroft website. Please present this at the registration desk on campus in order to collect your individual tickets, which will be needed in order to access the Ceremony. No graduand or guest will be admitted without a valid ticket.
Pre-order your gown and photography
To hire or purchase your academic dress, you will need to pre-order directly from Ede and Ravenscroft before the ceremony.
Before you start your booking, make sure you know your head circumference, chest and height measurements and have your credit/debit card details available.
Please note, academic dress is compulsory, students will not be permitted entry to the Graduation Ceremony without a gown.
You can pre-order photography via the Ede and Ravenscroft website. Alternatively you will be able to order and pay at the sales desk on the day of your ceremony, however, prices will be higher on the day.
If you pre-order your photography, please ensure you bring your acknowledgement card with you on the day.
There will be free parking available on the RAU campus. At the time of booking your Ceremony tickets, you will be asked about the vehicles you will be bringing to the event.
On arrival, please follow the signage for parking for your Ceremony.
Please print out and bring with you the relevant parking pass for your ceremony:
- Parking pass A - Ceremony 1 (Business and Entrepreneurship, Equine Management and Science)
- Parking pass B - Ceremony 2 (Agriculture, Food and the Environment, Capel Manor College)
- Parking pass C - Ceremony 3 (Real Estate & Rural Land Management and Plumpton College)
