Privacy notices

Following the data protection laws which came into force in May 2018, we have made some important changes to our Privacy Notices. These will not only ensure our policies are compliant but that everything we do with our student, staff, visitors, alumni and supporters’ information is as clear and transparent as possible.

For reassurance, these changes do not imply that your data has ever been at risk or misused. To the contrary, we have always kept data secure and in line with all relevant legislation. All the details are available below and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The privacy notices listed below are ways in which you might interact with the Royal Agricultural University. You may be covered by more than one of these areas, but please be assured that your data is safe regardless of how you are involved with the RAU.

From 25 May 2018 the University will process your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its enactment into UK law. View our full Data Protection Policy and Data Breach Policy.

If you have any questions, including if you are unsure which privacy notice applies to you, please contact the data protection officer at data.protection@rau.ac.uk.
