Hello, I'm Varity and we're here today at the Alliston Center which is home to Farm491 and today marks the end of the mixed land use challenge prize. Our six finalists who we chose from the pool of original entrants are pitching today to our panel of judges. They will each pitch their product or their service as a possible solution or as a means of relieving some of the competing pressures on the land in the UK, and we will have a day of pitching and when that's finished, our judges will deliberate. They will choose their winner who will win a cash prize of £40,000 and their runback who will win a cash prize of £20,000. And then we'll go and do an award for them.

I'm Abby from Lochhill Agroecological Farm. Lochhill is a 75 acre community farm where we are um using enterprise stacking approach to boost biodiversity and ecological health to uh create resilient sustainable livelihoods and to have programmes, education and learning and training all built into that.
