Visa advice for international students

For overseas students, once you've been offered a place here we advise you to allow plenty of time to obtain your student visa. All you need to know can be found here.

Short-term study visas

This visa is for English language courses lasting longer than 6 months and up to 11 months.

Standard visitor visas for short-term study

See details about a visa for you to study here for up to 6 months, attend a Viva or your graduation ceremony and visas for your family to attend your graduation or visit you.

Graduate route

The Graduate Route is a post-study work visa available to international students who have successfully completed an eligible degree at undergraduate level or above at RAU

Student visas

International students who want to study on an RAU Undergraduate or Postgraduate, Taught, full-time programme or do their PhD studies will need to obtain a Student visa before the start of their studies.
