Bridging Fields residency (crops and horticulture) – Monday 29 June 2026 – Wednesday 1 July 2026

Our ‘Bridging Fields: working effectively with farmers’ programme is aimed at researchers from all disciplines and at all levels who are interested in working with farmers and in farmer-centric research.

Generously funded by the Rothschild Foundation, the programme is designed to equip researchers with the specific theoretical and practical knowledge needed to co-design and run effective on-farm trials as well as enhancing their skills at collaborating and communicating effectively with farmers.

Short residencies form a key part of the programme and are based around a particular theme – in this case, crops and horticulture.

For more information about the programme, visit the Bridging Fields Programme webpage here.

To register your interest in our residencies in 2026, please complete our Bridging Fields form here.

Registration for this residency closes on 27 May 2026.
