RAU Students' Union's RAG Week 2026 raises funds for RABI and The Long Table

The Royal Agricultural University's Students' Union's annual RAG (Raising and Giving) Week kicked off last week with a series of fundraising events, organised by the University's Students' Union, to raise money for for The Long Table Cirencester and RABI – the farmers charity.
Their popular Tractor Pull event took place last Thursday. Starting at The Old Kennels, near the University campus, the students pulled a huge John Deere tractor through Cirencester Park, by kind permission of the Bathurst Estate, before ending in Cirencester Market Place.
And the annual RAG Rally left the RAU's Cirencester campus this morning with students in fancy dress and with decorated cars heading for a night out in Cardiff.
Other fundraising events taking place during the week included staff vs students football and rounders matches, quiz night, car wash, charity auction, and a clothes swap.
