The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) and the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM) have an impressive and long-standing history of delivering a programme designed for individuals with a real desire to implement change.
The only one of its kind, this three-week residential programme is aimed at the more proficient candidate who is already in a management role within their business and is seeking to challenge and empower their leadership and management potential.
The Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM) Leadership Programme provides unparalleled access and personal interaction with the most influential sector leaders from production, retail and policy across the entire food and farming industry.
This master’s level programme will develop your understanding of policy making in the UK and Brussels, arming you with a toolkit and network for the next stage of your career trajectory within the agri-food sector.

Programme Director - Robert Shepherd
Robert brings the leadership expertise of his past military service. He now runs the family farming business in Hampshire, chairs a sizeable environmental Farming Cluster group and has current involvements with a range of agricultural policy groups.

Week 1 26 February - 3 March |
The leadership orientation phase based at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester. |
Week 2 12 - 17 March |
A four-day global leadership insight phase in Brussels and the Netherlands to consider agricultural policy, and strategic leadership (five days with travel). |
Week 3 16 - 21 April |
A leading through networking phase based in Westminster, London. |
Programme cost: £7,500 to cover accommodation and food for the duration and travel
