Semester exchange programme (12 weeks)

Structured around one to two full taught academic modules, this is our most immersive option for twelve weeks, students become part of the RAU community, studying, living and socialising alongside our own undergraduates and postgraduates, with the practical field trips, demonstrations and cultural programme the RAU is known for.

The shape of a semester 

Week 1 - Arrival and orientation

Airport welcome, campus induction, international welcome session, guided campus and Cirencester town tours, and British culture and language workshops to prepare students for their modules. 

Weeks 2–11 - Core study & experiential learning 

One to two full taught academic modules, running alongside the rural farm and cultural trips, laboratory sessions, precision agriculture demonstrations, enterprise and employability sessions, and regular pastoral check-ins. 

Final week - Showcase & closing ceremony 

Students consolidate and present their learning, before a Certificate of Attendance is awarded at a special end-of-exchange presentation ceremony.
