Thanks to the generosity of the Bowyer Family Memorial Trust, the Royal Agricultural University is delighted to offer this scholarship for new applicants this September.
About the scholarship
- The award is worth up to £3,000 per annum for one year of full-time study at the RAU
- Part time scholars will be awarded a pro rata percentage of the £3,000 divided between the numbers of years of study
- Paid to the students in one instalment of £3,000
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award you must:
- Have received an agreed offer after the original deadline of 1 May 2026 to study on one of the following courses:
- Demonstrate a passion for Agriculture
- Provide evidence of leadership potential
- UK students only
How do I apply?
Eligible candidates for this scholarship will be contacted by us mid May 2026.
Criteria for continuation
- Successful applicants will be contacted by the Development Office for information to share with the donors of this scholarship
- Successful applicants will have the opportunity to meet with the Bowyer Family
- Failure to comply with the above will result in the removal of the award for subsequent years
Terms and conditions
Further to the criteria above:
- Only one RAU-managed scholarship can be held at any one time
- The RAU endeavours to ensure that this information is correct. However, the RAU accepts no legal liability for errors or omissions and reserves the right to make changes without notice
