What to expect from your agent
We expect our representatives to be honest and accurate with the information they communicate about the University.
The International Recruitment and Admissions Teams work closely with our agents ensuring they have up-to-date information on our courses and application procedures as well as the wider University. Many have visited the university in person and can also advise on the locality, helping you make an informed decision about studying with us.
As an institution, we are committed to the UK Agent Quality Framework and pledge to create and maintain the highest standards of agent management, ensuring the UK remains a leading study destination for international students.
The Agent Quality Framework (AQF) is a set of tools to enhance the experience of international students working with education agents and counsellors to apply to study in the UK.
It is designed to ensure agents and counsellors have the right knowledge of the UK as a study destination and understand the integrity of the UK visa and immigration system as well as uphold the UK’s reputation as a world-class study destination and support their student’s journeys to the UK.
As part of the AQF, universities are required to provide students a clear channel for lodging a complaint if they are dissatisfied with their experience of using a specific education agent. Please see the section entitled Complaining about your experience with an agent for more information.
