Our business
We are an estate agency which was founded back in 1910 by Herbert Jackson Stops. The company focuses on the sale and lettings of country property. We are a national organisation operating as a consortium with 40 offices across the UK, as well as London offices.
RAU Student work placements
We had an RAU student with us at our Ipswich office for a few weeks this summer. He undertook a variety of tasks from accompanying viewings to helping write sales details. The student was very good at what he did, was a keen learner and always willing to offer to undertake tasks.
Having attended the RAU (RAC back then) myself along with one of my colleagues, and very much enjoyed our times there, we are happy to offer graduates opportunities in the wider world of property.
What we look for in a Graduate
We look for graduates who present themselves well, have an eagerness to learn, and are good communicators. Having a mix of both technical and soft skills is always a benefit. Graduates employed with us can expect to be attending viewings and assisting with office tasks, along with carrying out research on property comparables prior to appraisals, and helping with preparation of sales details.
