Every year the RAU welcomes students from across South-East Asia who come to the UK to receive a world-class education. The International Team at RAU are always keen to help and support International students seeking education opportunities in the UK.

At the RAU we offer a variety of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programmes.

Scholarships

The Royal Agricultural University offers a number of scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of subject areas. In addition to this, a number of external organisations grant awards which may be of interest to RAU applicants.

Entry Requirements 

International Foundation Year

We run an International Foundation Year programme in partnership with our partner, INTO London World education Centre based in London.

Undergraduate Degrees (Foundation)

  • SPM Certificate with Maths min. grade C

        AND

  • Successful completion of STPM Sigjil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysian in 2 principal subjects grades CC
  • UKVI IELTS( academic) band score 6.0 overall or above with no less than 5.5 in each component (The test must have been taken within two years of the start of the course)

Undergraduate Degrees (Bachelors)

  • SPM Certificate with Maths min. grade C

        AND

  • Successful completion of STPM Sigjil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysian in 3 principal subjects grades BCC-CCC
  • IELTS( academic) band score 6.0 overall or above with no less than 5.5 in each component (The test must have been taken within two years of the start of the course)

GDA

  • Bachelor ( Honours) Second class or higher in a non-cognate subject
  • IELTS( academic) band score 6.0 overall or above with no less than 5.5 in each component (The test must have been taken within two years of the start of the course)

Postgraduate Taught Degrees

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree with:

3.0/4.0 = Upper Second Class Honours

2.6/4.0 – Lower Second Class Honours

  • IELTS(academic) band score 6.0 overall or above with no less than 5.5 in each component (The test must have been taken within two years of the start of the course)

Postgraduate Research Degrees

  • For entry to the MSc by Research -  Upper Second Class Honours degree
  • For entry to the PhD – Master’s degree
  • IELTS band score 6.5 overall or above with no less than 6.0 in each component of the ‘academic’ IELTS test (The test must have been taken within 2 years of the start date of the course)

Undergraduate
