Transcript of Kaleb Cooper Agriculture Bursary video
Hello everybody, Kaleb here. Now some of you may know I have a Kaleb Cooper bursary working with the RAU where you can join on to it and get £3,000 over the space of a year, so therefore if you do join the RAU you may have a chance of winning that.
How did you both feel about being awarded the Kaleb Cooper Bursary?
I still can't believe it, I don't think it will ever really fully kick in, it's something I never dreamed would never happen.
Yeah, very very lucky I mean it's a great thing to have, especially to come from you as well a real boost in our studies.
What difference will the bursary make to you?
An entire career difference to have your name on the bursary, it's just complete career change and a load of opportunity to opened up where people will know who I'm associated with.
Not coming from a farming background at all I think a lot of doors with this has been opened up for me, definitely gave me some more opportunities in my career.
So why are you interested in agriculture?
I've always loved the outdoors and even coming from a town spend as much time as I can in the country and I love growing plants and keeping animals, so it just sort of felt right to come here.
What's your favorite part of the RAU?
I'd say the people. People here are lovely. The lecturers are amazing but I'd probably say definitely the views.
But yeah the course as well it's so diverse there's so many different modules that we cross over with other courses as well yeah I think we have a really good setup here, yeah.
I look forward to seeing you here soon! [Music]
