Join us for our monthly 'Croissants & Questions' business breakfast

Thursday 26 June 2025 from 8.00 am to 9.30 am at the Alliston Centre, GL7 6JR

Hosted by our business development space Farm491 and the business hub The Growth Hub Cirencester at the Alliston Centre, this business breakfast series offers a unique opportunity for those interested in strategic land use, farming and food to network and engage with a key theme each month at the RAU.

This month’s theme is Regenerative Landscapes & Carbon-friendly Affordable Housing.

Our guest speakers are Dr Vincent Walsh, Managing Director of RegenFarmCo, and Craig White, CEO of Agile Property and Homes – winner and runner-up of the Farm491 Mixed Land Use Challenge 2024 respectively.

£50,000 first prize winner RegenFutureCo is transforming how we manage land, food, and water through regenerative design. From hydrology-led landscape restoration to adaptive grazing systems, their Yorkshire Biohub is a living model of ecological innovation.

While £25,000 runner up prize winner Agile Property and Homes is tackling the housing crisis and climate emergency head-on. Their pioneering model combines low-carbon construction, social impact labour, and a fintech platform that monetises carbon and social value -making truly affordable homes a reality.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from two trailblazing companies reshaping the future of land use and rural development. In addition, we will be teasing some details for the Farm491 Challenge Prize 2025. Read more here.

As ever, there will be the opportunity for Q&A and to network with others interested in strategic land use, farming and food systems.
