Academic joins the TransformDairyNet and PATHWAYS projects

TransformDairyNet is a new 26 multi-actor project across Europe in which Dr Jessica Stokes, Associate Professor in Farm Animal Welfare Science and Policy, is co-coordinating with UCD to upscale cow-calf dairy systems across Europe. The first facilitation training for the project took place at the Royal Agricultural University in July 2024.

The facilitators will now mobilise groups of current and curious cow-calf dairy farmers to work together to share existing practice and develop new knowledge through farmer-led innovation.

Meanwhile PATHWAYS for Sustainable Food is a 28 partner multi-actor research and innovation action group in which Jessica has been appointed Facilitation Lead.
