Overview
An introductory course for the new operator, providing you with the confidence to handle a tractor, attach trailers and drive with them. Other subjects covered include routine maintenance and safety. This course is based on the most recent Health and Safety Executive Tractor Action safety guidance and the changes in working practice with tractors.

- Bring a pen and paper if you wish to take notes.
- Wear suitable clothing for outside activities, protective steel toecap footwear is a must and gloves (if possible). Without PPE footwear, you will not be allowed to attend the course.
- Bring lunch and beverages.
Course Assessment Method
At the end of the course you will be awarded a University certificate of attendance.
