Staff and students can come through the RAU servery between 1.15 and 1.30pm and fill up a container to the brim with any food that would otherwise be wasted for just £2!

Food is first come first served so get in quick before it's all scoffed! You need to bring your own container but bear in mind this includes hot food, soup and salads!

The Royal Agricultural University’s (RAU) work on food security, and protecting and restoring the land, has ranked highly in prestigious global rankings linked to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

This year was the first time the small specialist agricultural university had entered the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings, a global survey of more than 2152 universities from 125 countries which identify and celebrate universities that excel across multiple UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

An evening discussion and debate, looking at how education can play a role in addressing the urgent global challenges that affect us all, is to take place next week at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU).

The free evening event, entitled Food, Farming and Water - How to support future leaders will bring together experts in the fields of food, farming, and water to discuss how we can nurture and develop the next generation of leaders in these crucial industries.

I think people always imagine that MSc teaching is someone standing up at the front of a classroom and telling you stuff and you scribbling away or typing away, and it's so not like that, it's very much engaged at all times depending on where you want to go, your personal trajectory through the course.
