The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) works with a small, carefully selected group of approved representatives (agents) around the world to offer assistance and counselling to prospective students and applicants.

Many students find it beneficial to work with an agent to help with applying to university. The University pays commission to these agents if you receive their support and enrol at the RAU.

Use of their services won't affect your chances of being accepted for a course.

We work with agents because it extends our global presence.

Please be aware that some agents charge students a counselling fee and we advise you to clarify all charges in advance. You should also check if an agent is authorised to represent the RAU.

We will not recommend one agent over another. If you wish to use an agent, you must choose one which is best equipped to meet your needs. Please note that you can only work with one representative on your application to the RAU.

Our agents sometimes work with other agents (often referred to as sub-agents). We do not have contracts with sub-agents and cannot offer them the same level of assistance.

You should always pay any deposit or tuition fee payments for your course directly to the University, and never to or via an agent.

If you are considering using the services of an agent, we encourage you to read the student and parent guide to choosing an education agent, which is an important part of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF).
