16 December 2024

A company which supports regenerative food production methods through unique partnerships with farmers, foresters, and landowners has been announced as the winner of the Royal Agricultural University’s (RAU) inaugural Farm491 Challenge Prize.

I came and did an open day and I loved how small the campus was and how close-knit everybody was.

I'm not from a farming background so I wanted an opportunity to get into the industry and I thought with the Uni's connections and research  this would be the best place to do it.

When I came here I found a very loving and welcoming community. The students, the teaching and the non-teaching staff, they have been able to help me settle in and I just feel at home.

25 November 2024

The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) has joined more than 25 other organisations from 14 different countries to launch a revolutionary new project to allow dairy calves to spend longer with their mothers.

Traditionally, calves are separated from their mothers shortly after birth which impacts the welfare of both mother and calf.

The Alliston Centre, situated in grounds of The Royal Agricultural University, comprises of three purpose-built meeting rooms and an open-plan event space, offering an alternative to our more traditional meeting and function rooms.

It is a bright, light filled contemporary space with modern fenestration, boasting stunning views across our fields.
