Cotswold Hills, the Royal Agricultural University’s award-winning wine and social enterprise based in Gloucestershire, has become the first UK vineyard to trial the use of Packamama’s multi-award-winning flat wine bottles.

A small run of the 2021 English white wine will be available in the new sustainable eco-flat bottles as part of an ongoing, student-led, project undertaken at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) and a celebration of how collaboration in the English wine industry can help create a more sustainable future.

The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) has launched a unique new recruitment initiative in a bid to “grow our own” academic and teaching staff and develop the future leaders in the land-based sector.

The Cirencester-based university is currently recruiting for a new position of Doctoral International Teaching Fellow – RAU Vice Chancellor Scholar, a position which would give the successful candidate the opportunity to study for a PhD while teaching RAU students and with the RAU covering the PhD fees.

With the opportunity to complete a work placement during your time with us, you will gain industry contacts and could secure employment even before you graduate.

Whether you aspire to become an agricultural entrepreneur, a farm manager, adviser, consultant, or scientist, you will benefit from both hands-on practical experience and in-depth technical knowledge on a course that evolves with the input of industry advisers.

We offer degrees in Business and Entrepreneurship, Equine, Rural Land Management, Real Estate, Environment and Wildlife, as well as Agriculture.

At the RAU we offer a variety of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programmes.

We offer a range of undergraduate degree and foundation courses in many different subjects, meaning you're bound to find the right course for you.

If you want a degree that combines academic and workplace skills, or if you prefer a shorter course, you may like to consider our Foundation degrees (FdSc). You can read more about Foundation degrees here.
